As the second newest employee at Weaver Associates, I am still in the process of figuring things out. I currently work in the Print Shop as an estimator and lead contact for all things print related. Everyone has been extremely welcoming and helpful when it comes to showing me the ropes. I am finding that this is a company that cares for its employees as well as its customers.
I began what has become a career by taking offset lithography and other printing classes in high school. After graduation, I got a job as a Press Operator at a large printing company. While there, I was moved up to the office fulfilling a wide range of the company's operations. During that time, I taught myself the design software. My talent was recognized, and I was then moved to the company's pre-press operations, designing the layout for everything from Business Cards to Event Journals.
In my spare time, I keep up to date with design software by taking online classes. I am currently working toward being Adobe certified.
I also do design work for several sign shops and a multitude of XDA/Drag Bike riders – everything from Hero Cards, T-Shirts, Stickers, Event Tents, Banners and more…
I am also a NYS licensed cosmetologist.
Recently relocated to PA, originally from New York State. I have 1 older brother and two younger sisters. I have 1 adult son who is a High School Music Teacher.
